PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS
Performance art workshop conducted by Penzo + Fiore.
The objective of this course is to accompany the participants in creating a personal performance that recognises their urgent needs and transforms them into a significant project. The themes which start to take place are reflections born from glass like metaphorical notions. It is not essential to understand the glass working techniques, but rather to have the desire to deepen the understanding from a conceptual point. The workshop will be an opportunity for us to observe the performers’ work and include them, where appropriate, in the "Corpi frangible" project launched in 2016 by Cantiere Corpo Luogo.
Integrated approach:
Anthropology: ritual | initiation practices | symbolic paths
Psychosomatic: self-care | awareness | power
Writing: Creative emergence through the practice of writing | elaboration | overcoming or transformation
Performance: Defining the scope of artistic performance | structuring a positive attitude to the creative act | forming the process from the initial choices to the emergence of concrete action
Who should attend:
Artists from different disciplines (even those completely disconnected from glass work) are welcome. The workshop is perfect for those who want to test their project which is already in development or for those searching for the ideal conditions to make it emerge. Artists coming from the glass world that would like to approach the material from a conceptual, sensory and symbolic perspective (rather than a technical) are also welcome.
Fees:
270,00 EUR per participant includes 8 training days + membership card (free entrance into Cantiere Corpo Luogo association).
How to apply:
